Following his early years as a manager,
and then a period of academic study, Ray Maxwell has worked helping groups,
teams, couples, and individuals to solve their group and interpersonal
difficulties since 1985. He trained as a Transactional Analyst
[Transactional
Analysis], and received the designation "Clinical
Membership". He was trained by award-winning major figures who developed this
discipline, including Eric Berne, MD, Jackie Lee Schiff,
MSW, Vince Gilpin, MSW, PhD and many other significant
contributors. He also studied extensively with the founders of
Neurolinguistic Programming, Richard Bandler, PhD, John
Grinder, PhD, and Robert Diltz, and acquired a the designation
"Practitioner". He studied Hakomi
with its
founder, Ron Kurt, PhD and was award the designation
"Practitioner". He also studied intensively with
Jean Houston, PhD in New York, and Arnold Mindell, PhD
"Process-Oriented Therapy" in Oregon, both
specialists in conflict resolution, internal and interpersonal
conflict impasse solving, solutions, and training, and teach
the skills of managing difficult people. He studied
the work of Harville Hendrix, PhD "Getting the Love You
Want", Imago
Relationship Therapy, through three years of workshop co-leadership with
Ilana Rosenfeld, MA. Mr. Maxwell also studied the Patterns of
Milton H. Erickson, MD, who was renown for his ability to
bring about change in difficult people, and to help people get
past their stuck places, and to make helpful changes in
themselves and in their interactions with others. Dealing With
Difficult People format is based the work of Robert Bramson, PhD, known as "the father of 'Coping
with Difficult People' ". Ray Maxwell has conducted
training on "Coping With Difficult People",
"Working With Difficult People", "Achieving
Goals With Difficult People," Coping With Difficult
Bosses", "Handling Difficult Customers, " etc.
in which contexts he delivered seminars and
trainings to teams,
groups, couples, and individuals.
In 2001 Ray "Max" Maxwell
initiated, created, and managed Dynamic
Teambuilders Inc., a "boutique" staff recruiting
agency. Utilizing his management skills, he
blended an unlikely but talented group of staff, taught each skills of recruiting, and,
by 2009, Dynamic Teambuilders
became Canada's best-known General Insurance Staffing
Recruiter. Employers appreciate the integrity of this
company, and, on occasions where they have had to cope with
difficult people, or complex management situations, they have
benefited from Mr. Maxwell's consultation. His skill in helping with "Coping With
Difficult People" have helped those within
organizations to get onside, through understanding and
improved functioning, to their benefit, and the improved
functioning of the organization. In addition to having been of
assistance to management, if employees encountered difficulty with their peers, or with management,
they utilized Ray Maxwell's consultation, often resulting in
positive changes to their work situation.
