• MEASURING THE PERFORMANCE CAPABILITIES
    OF JOB CANDIDATES & EMPLOYEES

    Employees in management, sales, and customer service must be adept at building rapport with people at all levels, and often require skills to manage stressful situations. 

    These positions require:

    ¨      LINGUISTIC ABILITY - to explain complex data, either by telephone or in person 

    ¨      PERSUASIVENESS - assertiveness, attentiveness, enthusiasm, sensitivity to personal issues 

    ¨      MATURITY - to take personal criticism, disappointment, or irritation in stride

    ¨      FLEXIBILITY - to work well alone and with a team

    ¨      RELIABILITY - and consistency in record keeping, follow-up, and management of time and workload

     

    These capabilities are examined during our interviewing process.  The methods may include the following tests and interactive work-simulation exercises:

     

    ¨      INTELLIGENCE

    AccuSpeed:                             This test of speed and accuracy measures administrative aptitude, for tasks such as maintaining databases.

    Visual Pattern Reasoning:      Test for complex non-verbal visual reasoning.

    Vocabulary I-IV:                     An assessment of fluency with both common and less common words, these tests identify candidates with above-average vocabulary skills-especially important for telephone contact, where there is no opportunity for face-to-face meetings.

     

    ¨      PERSONALITY

    Interactive Styles:       Measurement of the ability to interact with others, and to cope with the pressures associated with interpersonal contact on the job.

    Personality Inventory: This psychometric assessment of many personality factors provides a detailed profile.

     

    ¨      INTERPERSONAL & PRESENTATION SKILLS

    Presentation I:             Assessment of accuracy and objectivity in using data obtained through an interview, listening and presentation skills, and self-confidence.

    Presentation II:           An opportunity to confirm candidates' ability to present information confidently and professionally when a topic is assigned randomly, without preparation time.

    Group Discussion:       A structured discussion enables further assessment of self-confidence, and skills of listening, rapport building, and conversation.
